Season’s Greetings from Ace Plumbing!

Season’s Greetings

It’s one thing to misplace a wrench or your glasses, but we’re starting to wonder where we might’ve left 2019. It was just here a minute ago, and now it seems like it’s just about gone. Before 2020 elbows its way in, we wanted to take time for something important: we wanted to say “thanks.” Like you, we often find we’re busy with a lot of things that need to be done right, and done right this minute. The nature of our work means we spend a fair amount of each day sweating the details, so we didn’t want something as big as our gratitude to get lost in the shuffle.

The People Behind the Company

Every week, we try to deliver plumbing advice you can use, because whether you own a home or a business, we want you to be prepared — or able to plan ahead — for life’s little emergencies. But we realize that we haven’t really talked about ourselves. Ace Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning was started by Jerry Greenberg in 1975, after he’d put in many years around Sacramento as an apprentice plumber. What started as a one-man shop has grown in the four decades since to become a 30-person operation that’s expanded its reach to El Dorado, Yolo, and Placer Counties. Jerry’s values — honesty, integrity, hard work, and constant improvement through learning — still guide everything we do.

What Our Customers are Saying

It’s one thing for us to say we’re the best plumbers in the Sacramento area; we’re not shy about tooting our own horn. But if you need a bit more convincing, don’t just listen to us; listen to our Facebooksatisfied customers. They have high praise for our technicians, our fast and accurate first-time fixes, our emergency plumbing and HVAC service, and our service that’s been called “Very friendly, courteous and trustworthy.”

Seasonal Reminders

Since we want you to have a safe holiday season that carries through to a safe new year, there are a few quick plumbing tips to take with you for the days and months ahead.

  • Change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. It just might save your life!
  • Make sure you change your filters on schedule, since this improves system performance and can make a big difference in indoor air quality.
  • Exercise extreme care when using space heaters, following instructions to the letter and never leaving a heater unattended; also never use your stove or oven to supplement, or act as a stopgap for, your home heating.
  • Seal off drafty windows and doors, since this can help keep heating (and cooling) bills under control.
  • Remember that it’s never too late for a home heating tune-up!

Best Wishes from Ace Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning
